Ilyo Voyvoda Center for Adults with Physical Disabilities in the town of Kyustendil aims at providing the clients from the country an opportunity to have fulfilled life in an accessible and positive environment surrounded by care and attention.
Center is situated in the quiet health resort town of Kyustendil famous for its mineral springs for millennia. It is situated among beautiful scenery and splendid views near to the Osogovska Mountain and the orchards. Buildings were constructed and an adjacent park was created for the needs of the clients. The infrastructure was overhauled, rehabilitated and equipped with modern facilities according to the EU requirements.
Ilyo Voyvoda Center for Adults with Physical Disabilities in the town of Kyustendil was established in 1971. It is a centre licensed by the Ministry of Social Affairs. It is registered according to the Law on Social Support and acting according to the provision of Art. 36 of the Regulation on the implementation of the Law on Social Support relating to the specialized institutions providing social services.
The institution was established with the only and high-minded aim of providing living conditions which will allow people over the age of 18, accommodated in it, to receive high quality services, real humane attitude, living environment, feeding according to the individual health condition and to enjoy conditions of unrestricted regime of stay.
Gaining experience from the good EU practices the management of the institution is striving to practically introduce the best care, services and socialization of disabled people domiciled in the Centre.

The prices for the stay are determined according to the Fees section of the Law on Local Taxes and Fees >>70% of the personal income (the addition for assistance is not included).
The prices of the additionally offered services are fixed according to a special scheme taking into account the services provided and the level of comfort provided to the clients as well as the special requirements of each individual in harmony with the doctor’s prescriptions where needed. The price list considering the levels of the voluntary health insurance fees will be opened for further negotiation in the future .

- Short term accommodation for up to 3 months accommodation for unlimited time. - Opportunity for home leave for up to 3 months and reserving the accommodation.
Opportunities for accommodating physically disabled (wide profile) adults above the age of 18, but mentally preserved: - physically disabled - with post-clinical problems - needing clinical patronage - needing rehabilitation services.
Care provided to the domiciled can be: - daily with night duty, - individual with 24-hour duty.

Admittance at the institution is carried out through an Order of Directorate Social Services. The following documents should be submitted to the Directorate: An application form-declaration; Decision of the Expert doctor committee; Health certificate from the GP, etc. For more information please call the respective Social Services Directorate at the place of permanent address. Division into zones is not applied. If the person comes from a different town accommodation is done through the Social Services Directorate from the place of permanent address .

95 people are accommodated in the Centre, incl. 32 men and 63 women.
The accommodation is regulated by the MSA based on the relevant legislation. For more information please call the respective Directorate Social Support at the place of your permanent address.
